Eden Hazard was part of two Premier League winning sides at Chelsea, and has now picked between managers Jose Mourinho and Antonio Conte as to who he preferred.
Hazard was named PFA Player of the Year at the end of Chelsea’s Premier League title win under Mourinho, featuring in a dominant side that also had Diego Costa and Cesc Fabregas firing on all cylinders.
Two years later, he missed out on the award to teammate N’Golo Kante, as the Blues recovered from a dreadful season to win the league in Conte’s first season in charge.

Eden Hazard prefers Jose Mourinho to Antonio Conte as a Chelsea manager
Despite Hazard admitting he had great admiration for both managers, he told RTBF Sport that Mourinho was his favourite from the trio of himself, Conte and Maurizio Sarri.
He said: “Mourinho. And that doesn’t mean I didn’t like the others. It just means my relationship with Mourinho was great. And José’s career is above everyone else’s.”

It was under Conte where Hazard really became the go-to player for Chelsea, however supporters will largely agree with the opinion regarding Mourinho.
Things weren’t always perfect under the Portuguese boss though. Hazard has stated in the past that he struggled with Mourinho’s communication during his second stint in charge at Stamford Bridge.

Hazard’s best season didn’t come under Mourinho or Conte
When looking at the stats, it suggests that Hazard’s best season at Stamford Bridge actually came in the 2018/19 campaign, his final one before moving to Real Madrid.
Sarri was in charge of the club at the time, leading them to third in the league and a memorable Europa League final win against Arsenal.
Hazard managed 21 goals in all competitions throughout the campaign, and said an emotional goodbye to Chelsea fans at the end of their final in Baku with two goals.
The Belgian would never hit the heights in Madrid that he did in West London, but this has not tarnished his reputation as one of the best in modern history for the club.
