Bills sign cornerback Dee Alford to three-year contract

The Bills are stacking up on defense. Cornerback Dee Alford signed a three-year deal with Buffalo on Thursday.

Alford, 5'11 and 180 pounds, comes to Buffalo from Atlanta where he's spent his entire four-year career. The CB played in 64 games and started in 23 from 2022-25 with the Falcons.

He was used as a moveable chess piece in Atlanta as he played in the slot and on the outside.

Alford made 18 starts over the last two seasons and totaled 150 tackles, three interceptions, 24 passes defensed and three sacks over that span. The CB had a career-high in passes defensed (13), interceptions (3), tackles for loss (6) and sacks (2) in 2025.

He's racked up 216 total tackles, 37 passes defensed, four interceptions, 10 tackles for loss and 3.5 sacks since coming into the league in 2022.

The CB played collegiately for Tusculum (2016-19) and then went into the CFL and played for the Winnipeg Blue Bombers (202-21) before coming into the league as an undrafted free agent.
