Chicago Bulls Announce Josh Giddey Status For Lakers Game

On Thursday night, the Chicago Bulls will be in Los Angeles to play the Lakers.

The Bulls most recently beat the Golden State Warriors (in overtime) by a score of 130-124.

Josh Giddey finished the victory with 21 points, 13 rebounds and 17 assists while shooting 7/16 from the field and 4/9 from three-point range in 43 minutes of playing time.

For Thursday’s game, the Bulls have announced that Giddey will be listed as probable.

Underdog NBA wrote: “Josh Giddey (ankle) listed probable for Thursday.”

Giddey is in the middle of his second season playing for the Bulls.

He is having a strong year with averages of 17.7 points, 8.4 rebounds, 8.7 assists and 1.0 steals per contest while shooting 45.7% from the field and 37.6% from three-point range in 43 games.

Giddey was the sixth pick in the 2021 NBA Draft.

He spent the first three seasons of his career with the Oklahoma City Thunder before a trade to Chicago.

His career averages are 14.6 points, 7.6 rebounds and 6.4 assists per contest while shooting 46.3% from the field and 33.8% from three-point range in 323 games.

At just 23, it’s very possible that Giddey could make an All-Star Game over the next few seasons.

The Bulls wrote (on March 8): “Josh Giddey passes Scottie Pippen to be No. 2 on our Bulls franchise triple-doubles list.”
