The 28-year-old forward suffered a torn Achilles in last season's first-round playoff series against the New York Knicks, a devastating injury that kept him sidelined for nearly 300 days.
Despite the severity, Tatum returned faster than expected, making his Celtics comeback less than 10 months after the injury.
This season, Tatum has played three games, averaging 19.7 points, 6.7 rebounds, and 3.7 assists per game, while shooting 39.3% from the field and 29.0% from three.
The Celtics currently sit second in the Eastern Conference with a 43-22 record, while the Thunder hold the top spot in the Western Conference at 51-15, the best record in the NBA.
