Cardinals sign OL Elijah Wilkinson, DL Jonah Williams

The Arizona Cardinals have signed offensive lineman Elijah Wilkinson and defensive lineman Jonah Williams, the team announced.

The news comes after the team announced the signings of cornerback Starling Thomas V and running back Bam Knight.

Wilkinson returns to Arizona on a two-year deal, while Williams heads over on a one-year contract.

Following his 2023 stint with the Cardinals, which included 10 games played (nine starts), Wilkinson spent the past two seasons with the Atlanta Falcons. He started every game at right tackle for Atlanta last year after appearing in just two the season prior.

Wilkinson got his NFL start with the Denver Broncos as a 2017 undrafted free agent. He played four seasons in Denver before heading to Chicago (2021), Arizona and Atlanta.

While he played guard for the Cardinals during his one-year tenure, Wilkinson could be in the mix at right tackle this time around, given the team’s need opposite Paris Johnson Jr.

Williams, meanwhile, appeared in 15 games (one start) for the New Orleans Saints in 2025. He registered three sacks, five tackles for loss and five QB hits.

Before his time in New Orleans, Williams spent the majority of his career with the Los Angeles Rams (2021-24) after going undrafted in 2020. He also played for the Minnesota Vikings and Detroit Lions in 2024.

He joins a room that includes Josh Sweat, Baron Browning, Jordan Burch and Zaven Collins.
