At the eleventh hour, the agreement began to deteriorate. On March 10, the team that wanted Crosby backed out of the trade. A furore began as reports of a failed physical began to disseminate. Media outlets said Crosby had surgery in January that hindered his recovery.

“Maxx Crosby did not pass his physical today, per sources,” insider for The Athletic Diana Russini tweeted. “The Ravens get their first-round picks back.”
Emmanuel Acho said the media is trying to ruin the story around Maxx Crosby to protect the Baltimore Ravens. The Ravens and their management alleged that the player was not ready to excel. Although the team claimed it was a medical crisis, Acho said on the show Speakeasy on YouTube, Wednesday:
“Maxx should feel disgusted not only should Maxx feel disgusted by what the Ravens did because Maxx Crosby’s injury going into the trade, and you also know that Maxx Crosby is ahead of schedule in regards to his rehab, Maxx should feel disgusted by the intentional public hit job by so many reporters, not just Russini”.
The media is trying to ruin the narrative around Maxx Crosby and protect the Ravens. It’s truly disgusting.

The Injury Reports Of Maxx Crosby Were A Narrative Shift?
Emmanuel Acho said reporters and agents work in connection with each other.
“What y’all have to understand and now really start watching it if y’all haven’t seen it,” Acho said. “Agents hit reporters put out statements on behalf of the agents, that’s how the reporters get their job done, they break the news, how they get the news cuz the agent fed him the news in exchange, the reporters have to verbalize things how agents want them to”.
He said the medical reports were a tactic to appease fans who felt pessimistic after the trade slump.
Just 13 hours after the Ravens walked away, the team signed Trey Hendrickson to a $112 million contract. The team chose Hendrickson because his market price had declined. The Ravens wanted to keep its 1st-round draft picks for the sake of its own future. General Manager Eric DeCosta said,
“We did that, and we were not able to complete the process of acquiring the player, based on our assessment of the situation.”
According to a recent NFL.com report, Crosby, “looks great and feels great”. Crosby said to believe nothing you hear and half of what you see. His agent, CJ LaBoy, said the player is “ahead of schedule”.
