Jurgen Klopp's future with Red Bull is allegedly under review amid speculation of a possible return to management. The ex-Liverpool manager has served as Red Bull's global head of football since January of last year, after departing Anfield at the conclusion of the 2023/24 campaign.
Klopp oversees Red Bull's complete soccer portfolio, encompassing RB Leipzig in Germany, Red Bull Salzburg in Austria, and the New York Red Bulls in the United States, among several other clubs. Since his Liverpool exit, there has been persistent speculation that Klopp might resume management duties, either at club level or with a national team, particularly Germany.
Fresh developments regarding Klopp's future have now emerged from Red Bull's viewpoint. According to German publication Sport Bild, discussions have taken place concerning Klopp's position within the organization. This is despite his agent recently shutting down such notions.

The publication suggests these conversations have focused on the prospect of Klopp assuming control of the Germany national team in the near term. However, it has been noted that a return to club management is not anticipated, despite continued rumours, reports the Mirror.
Bild further reports that Red Bull regard it as common knowledge within the group that they are not completely satisfied with Klopp's current performance.
Klopp has been strongly linked with a return to club management for some time, with speculation that a move could materialize to the likes of Real Madrid, who face long-term uncertainty in the dugout.
However, Klopp's agent, Marc Kosicke, recently made it clear that the former Liverpool boss is expected to remain at Red Bull.

"Jurgen Klopp is very happy with his current role at Red Bull, and what is being said about negotiations to coach Real Madrid are just rumours for now," Kosicke told 365Scores in a statement last week.
The speculation that Klopp could become Germany boss in the future has not gone away, either, with suggestions that the former Liverpool manager could replace Julian Nagelsmann either side of this summer's World Cup.
"There's no need to answer questions about things that are just rumours," Kosicke said. "Nobody has contacted us at this time."

Klopp has already made his feelings about a potential return to club management clear, and why he is satisfied to remain in his current role with Red Bull.

"I'm in a place, as a person, where I'm completely at peace with where I am. I don't want to be somewhere else," Klopp told AFP in January. "I don't get up and excited if Real Madrid are showing interest. If they would be, but it's the media.
"Do I want to coach again? At the moment, I would say no, but I cannot say never, never, never. I don't expect to change my mind, but I don't know."
