West Ham United host Manchester City in a huge Premier League tie on Saturday night.
Unlikely as it may be, West Ham United can lift themselves out of the Premier League’s relegation zone if they beat Pep Guardiola’s side at the London Stadium.
Three points would be enough to move ahead of both Nottingham Forest – with whom they are currently level on goal difference – and bitter rivals Tottenham in the Premier League table.

West Ham United vs Manchester City team news
The major blow for the hosts is that Crysencio Summerville is ruled out of West Ham versus Manchester City due to a calf injury.
Summerville suffered the injury during the win over Brentford in the FA Cup earlier this week and his return date remains unclear.

Nuno is expected to make changes for Saturday’s game, too. Mads Hermansen, Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Taty Castellanos and El Hadji Malick Diouf could all feature after largely being rested earlier this week.
For the visitors, Guardiola is suspended from the touchline for West Ham vs Man City, after he was booked during his side’s win over Newcastle in the FA Cup last week.
That suspension only applies to domestic competition, hence why he was on the touchline against Real Madrid in the Champions League earlier this week.
City didn’t start any of John Stones, Phil Foden, Matheus Nunes or Rayan Ait-Nouri for their loss in Madrid, so perhaps they could feature here.
Mateo Kovacic, Josko Gvardiol and Rico Lewis are all injured.
West Ham vs Man City prediction
The Hammers have a dreadful record against City.
They are winless against the Manchester giants in a Premier League context since way back in 2015, though they did beat Guardiola’s side on penalties in the Carabao Cup back in 2021.
Still, there are reasons to believe that West Ham can beat Man City on Saturday night.
Nuno’s side are in brilliant form and their pace on the counter could be a serious issue for Guardiola’s side.
City, of course, were also held to a draw by Nottingham Forest before collapsing in Madrid, so they are hardly at their best.
As such, there can be a feeling of optimism heading into the game.
Score prediction: West Ham 2-1 Man City
