Arsenal are preparing to table formal contract offers to both Leon Goretzka and Julian Brandt as they look to strengthen their squad this summer, according to TEAMtalk.
The Gunners are pushing to become Premier League champions for the first time in 22 years, while they are also in the Carabao Cup final, FA Cup quarter-finals, and will take on Bayer Leverkusen in the Champions League last 16 at home following a 1-1 draw in the first leg this week.
But despite there still being plenty to play for this season, plans have already begun for the upcoming summer window ahead of next season, with the club set for a slight change to their ususal strategy.

The Gunners have recently been making moves to bring in players in the peak years of their careers, or young players with a high ceiling for the future.
But according to sources from within the Emirates Stadium, the north London club are now set to table formal contract offers to Bayern Munich star Leon Goretzka and Borussia Dortmund star Julian Brandt as they look to add more experience to the squad.
Goretzka has found himself way down the pecking order at Bayern under Vincent Kompany, and is expected to leave when his contract expires this summer. Brandt, on the other hand, is a key player at Dortmund, but is keen on a new challenge.
The club are keen to strengthen in those areas and view their experience, along with the free element of the deal, as a major opportunity for them to bolster the squad, while saving funds for a marquee name to come in on the left-wing.
Both players are expected to feature for Germany at the World Cup, and Arsenal are already working hard to ensure they return to London following their breaks after the tournament.

Goretza, who has been described as 'unbelievable', would likely be coming in to strengthen a midfield position that has lacked depth this season. Christian Norgaard's signing hasn't worked out too well, while Mikel Merino is a different profile to both Martin Zubimendi and Declan Rice, which has led to Arteta not being able to rest them as much as he'd like.
Brandt, on the other hand, is a talented playmaker, and he could come in to replace Leandro Trossard and Gabriel Martinelli, while Ethan Nwaneri and Max Dowman are given more first-team responsibility.
Their experience could be key to taking Arsenal to the next level next season, and Andrea Berta has already made it his mission to get deals done.
