Rachaad White was selected by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers with the 91st overall pick in the third round of the 2022 NFL Draft.

Commanders are signing former Bucs RB Rachaad White to a one-year deal, per his agent Sunny Shah. White now reunites with his college quarterback, Jayden Daniels.
ESPN NFL InsiderAdam Schefter reported that the Commanders are signing former Tampa Bay Buccaneers running back Rachaad White to a one-year contract. White is a versatile player who can be effective in both the run and pass games. Across hisfour-year career, he has accumulated 2,656 rushing yards along with 1,450 receiving yards. White has also recorded 25 total touchdowns across 67 games played.
The former Arizona State University running back will be teaming up with his college quarterback, Jayden Daniels. The duo played together across the2020 and2021 seasons.
White now becomes the complement to Jacory Croskey-Merritt as the duo expects to revitalize a Commanders rushing attack that ranked 20th last season, according toPro Football Focus.
