Steelers All-Pro signs with NFC South team

Pittsburgh Steelers special teams ace Miles Killebrew is signing with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, per Jeremy Fowler of ESPN. Killebrew joins former Steelers special teams coach Danny Smith, who is now the special teams coach in Tampa.

Killebrew joined the Steelers in 2021, not missing a game from 2021-24. He earned two Pro Bowl nods in 2023 and 2024, and was named First-Team All-Pro as a special teams contributor in 2024. He suffered a season-ending injury early in the season against the Cleveland Browns in a game in which the field was in poor condition.

Ben Skowronek earned a Pro Bowl appearance for the job that he did on special teams in 2025, which likely made Pittsburgh more comfortable with not bringing Killebrew back into the fold.
