Seth Rollins made an interesting connection to the masked men segment from WWE RAW, saying they executed it perfectly.
During his recent appearance on Good Morning Football, Seth Rollins compared the masked men segment from this week’s episode of WWE RAW to the Snow Globe play introduced by the Kansas City Chiefs during their regular-season finale against the Las Vegas Raiders in 2023.
The Snow Globe play was a spinning huddle performed to confuse the defense and make it impossible for them to identify which players are breaking to which positions until the very last second. It’s similar to the strategy Seth Rollins’ masked men used against the Vision on WWE RAW.
“I’m a professional athlete, too, okay. I’m dealing with professional people as well. I’ll give the Chiefs credit on this. They were a little more synchronized than my masked men were,” Seth Rollins began. “The masked men were all over the place. It’s a lot of jumble, a lot of two left feet going on in there. The Chiefs were more synchronized.
Seth Rollins says his masked men executed their play perfectly, unlike the Chiefs
Speaking further, Seth Rollins said while the Chiefs’ play didn’t get the desired outcome, as a holding penalty on center Creed Humphrey nullified their touchdown, his masked men executed their play to perfection. He stated that it achieved its intended result: to protect him, as he is still not cleared for any real physical activity in the ring.
“However, I gotta say, one of these plays worked, and the other one didn’t. You gotta execute. I don’t mean to harp on my man Joe Thuney, coz he’s in Chicago now,” Seth Rollins said. “We love him, but he’s holding. So play had to come back. They had to redo the thing. We didn’t redo the thing; we executed it to perfection, alright.
“We got in there, we protected Seth Rollins, we confused everybody, and we got out of there. That was what we had to do because Seth Rollins, that’s me, I’m not cleared yet, I can’t get into any real physicality. I gotta protect his shoulder for maybe another couple weeks or so, and then we’ll see if we need these masked men, if we need all this trickeration or not.”
