The San Francisco 49ers have Jauan Jennings sitting in free agency, waiting for a team to sign him to a multi-year contract.
While the 28-year-old wide receiver might not be the most sought-after free agent this offseason, he will still bring fire and quality wide receiver play to a new team this offseason following the 49ers' addition of Mike Evans.
ESPN's Ben Solak linked Jennings to the Philadelphia Eagles this offseason. With A.J. Brown potentially on his way out in a trade, the 49ers could easily land with the Eagles in free agency this offseason.
49ers' Jauan Jennings linked to Eagles in FA
"Wonder if the Eagles are the Jauan Jennings team," Solak writes. "WR3 is open and could become WR2 with a Brown trade. Jennings is a high-impact blocker at WR whchi would help mitigate some of their TE issues."
This would be an interesting fit for Jennings in free agency. With the uncertainty around Brown's future, Jennings could have a landing spot in the Eagles this offseason.
The 49ers might not be directly impacted by a Jennings signing, as they won't be landing a compensatory draft pick this offseason, and also won't likely be considering him in free agency.

But seeing Jennings go to one of the top NFC rivals in the Eagles, a team likely to compete for the NFC Championship in 2026, would be a meaningful free agent move this offseason.
Jennings leaving the 49ers for the Eagles would sting, as the polarizing WR has been a quality contributor for San Francisco in his five-year career.
He has 210 receptions on 330 targets for 2,581 yards and 22 touchdowns in his NFL career so far. At 28 years old, Jennings has some high-quality play left in him and would surely be of interest to any WR-needy team around the NFL.
Solak is linking him to the Eagles, which would be a bittersweet moment for the 49ers, seeing a longtime WR land a decent contract, but land with a playoff rival.
