Cleveland Cavaliers Make Jarrett Allen Announcement Before Mavs Game

On Friday night, the Cleveland Cavaliers will be in Texas to play the Dallas Mavericks.

The Cavs most recently lost to the Orlando Magic by a score of 128-122 in Florida.

Jarrett Allen did not play in the game (and missed his third straight).

For Friday’s game, the Cavs have announced that they will remain without Allen.

Danny Cunningham of Locked On Cavs wrote: “#Cavs list Jarrett Allen (knee tendinitis), Max Strus (Jones Fracture) and Tyrese Proctor (quad strain) as out tomorrow night against the Dallas Mavericks.”

Allen is currently averaging 15.3 points, 8.5 rebounds, 1.9 assists and 1.0 steals per contest while shooting 63.6% from the field in 51 games.

He has been with the Cavs since the middle of the 2020-21 season.

Cavs Right Now

The Cavs come into their showdown with the Mavs as the fourth seed in the Eastern Conference with a 40-26 record in 66 games.

They have won five out of their last ten games (and are 18-14 in 32 games on the road).
