Conan O'Brien Promises to Join Bills Mafia, Perform Wild Stunt

In January 2024, the Kansas City Chiefs defeated the Buffalo Bills in the AFC Divisional round at Highmark Stadium in Orchard Park, New York. The game was significant in the ongoing Josh Allen-Patrick Mahomes rivalry and a stepping stone in the Chiefs’ back-to-back Super Bowl reign. But the most viral part of it was a shirtless Jason Kelce celebrating his brother, Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, after he scored a touchdown.

Jason, a retired future Hall of Fame Philadelphia Eagles center, might bring Conan O’Brien with him the next time he visits Buffalo.

On Wednesday, Jason and Travis welcomed the legendary comedian and host on their New Heights podcast ahead of O’Brien hosting the 98th Oscars on Sunday. About halfway through, O’Brien spoke about his lifelong desire to do physical comedy but having to lay off of it as he ages, which led to Jason joking, “We’ll get you some Toradol. You’ll be fine.” O’Brien replied, “So, you’re saying that I qualify for an injection of a drug that professional football players use?”

“We would be honored to host you to Bills Mafia in Buffalo, New York,” Jason said. “We’re gonna inject you with some Toradol, and we’re gonna send you through a flaming table.” O’Brien insisted that he took this seriously and would meet the Kelces “anywhere, anytime” for a professional doctor to administer Toradol before he jumped through something. “I think that would be so much fun,” O’Brien said, later adding, “This is going to happen. It’s going to happen. We’re gonna shoot it. It’s gonna be video. It’s gonna go viral.”

That’s when Travis reminded O’Brien that the Chiefs play in Buffalo next season.

Bills fans, best known as Bills Mafia, have been famous for “table-slamming” at tailgates on game days for years, as reported on by *The New York Times*in 2021. In March 2024, Jason Kelce jumped through a flaming table after losing a New Heights bet to Bills Mafia.

On Jan. 4, the Bills played their last game at Highmark Stadium after 53 seasons. Next season will be the Bills’ brand-new, billion-dollar New Highmark Stadium‘s inaugural season. Conan O’Brien sailing through a flaming table would be quite the opening statement.
