Wembanyama has been ruled out by the Spurs ahead of Thursday's showdown with Nikola Jokic and the Nuggets. The French superstar is dealing with a right ankle injury.
Head coach Mitch Johnson told reporters that Wembanyama will be a game-time decision in his status, but it appeared that the big man isn't ready to play.
Wembanyama's absence will allow more minutes for Luke Kornet, Mason Plumlee and Bismack Biyombo for the Spurs' frontcourt.
