Tonight, the Tennessee Titans unveiled their new uniforms. The new logo was leaked by Fanatics a few weeks ago, so we have known what it would look like for quite a while:
but we didn’t know what the full uniform would look like until tonight.
I’ll be honest, I am a little sad to see the “flaming thumbtack” go away. It is not like it is an iconic logo or anything, but it has been the logo since the team came to Tennessee. I think it will always hold a special place in the hearts of the people who lived through the “Vote YES on NFL” era here in Nashville.
This redesign will hopefully be the last one. Think about it this way: teams that build dynasties don’t change their uniforms over time. The Dallas Cowboys and Green Bay Packers have had basically the same uniforms for decades. Here’s to hoping this front office, coaching staff, and Cam Ward are going to make the Titans the next great NFL dynasty.
