James (hip, foot) will make his return to the Lakers lineup vs. Chicago.
The Los Angeles Lakers will welcome the highly anticipated return of LeBron James.
The team announced ahead of their Thursday clash against the Chicago Bulls that James is set to play. Head coach JJ Redick told reporters that James' status will be determined after pregame warmups, but it seems that the superstar is ready enough to make a comeback.
James has missed the last three games for the Lakers, dealing with foot and hip injuries. Despite his absence, the Lakers still prevailed in all of these matches thanks to the synergy of Luka Doncic and Austin Reaves.
In 44 appearances, James is averaging 21.4 points, 7.0 assists and 5.6 rebounds this 2025-26 campaign.
James' return will be tremendous for the Lakers (40-25), as the victory would put them at the third spot of the Western Conference standings.
