Anchorage linebacker signs $2M deal to stay with Seahawks

ANCHORAGE, Alaska (KTUU) - Brandon Pili signed a one-year deal Thursday to stay in Seattle next season to play with the Super Bowl champion Seahawks.

Pili, a graduate of Dimond High School in Anchorage, returned to the team he won a championship with just over a month ago, inking a $2 million deal for the 2026 season, according to the NFL Network.

The Alaska nose tackle started on the Seahawks’ practice squad last season but made appearances with the team in a substitute role.

In the 2025 playoffs, Pili got time in the divisional and NFC Championship games against the San Francisco 49ers and Los Angeles Rams, respectively, playing a total of 21 snaps on defense, or about 17% of total defensive snaps by the team in those games.

Pili did not play in the Super Bowl against the New England Patriots.

The Anchorage native played with the Miami Dolphins in 2023 and 2024 before being claimed by Seattle off waivers.
