Liam Rosenior had some words to say on the ball boy incident recently. The Blues lost the match horrendously however there is no doubt that they tried their best of course. They tried to play good football.
Dynamic team lost?
Chelsea are very great and there is no doubt about it either. The team tried to make a come back and end the match in a draw. The Blues are one of the best in the Premier League right now as well. Chelsea are very dynamic and versatile too and there is no doubt about it either. However, it is shocking to see how Paris Saint Germain scored 5 goals with an XG of less than one as well. Chelsea’s main problem was their substitutes to be honest. The substitutes changed everything. While Chelsea were going to make Garnacho come on, Paris Saint Germain were making Kavicha come on. This was laughable. The difference between the two substitutions have made the game one sided of course.
Liam Rosenior made a lot of tactical changes too. However, it did not really matter way too much. Paris Saint Germain’s counter attacks were way too harsh for Chelsea to defend properly of course. Last night, it seemed like every single Premier League team were performing horrendously. All of the Premier League teams lost as well. Luis Enrique tactically outclassed Liam Rosenior of course and there is no doubt about it either.
Liam Rosenior spoke about the ball boy controversy:
Yeah, I think, honestly, on both occasions, I haven’t seen them back. I saw there was an allocation with the ball boy. But if there was anything from our side that was wrong or out of order, I apologise on behalf of the club. But I think Pedro has done in interviews. I genuinely haven’t seen it back. Yeah, we’ve spoken a lot about this aspect, discipline, staying calm in the moment.
It’s on me to find the answer because what we won’t speak about now, rightly so, was so much good in our play. It doesn’t matter because we’re here to win. We’ve made this tie, we’ve kind of shot ourselves in the foot and made this tie very, very difficult but not impossible to come back from. Even at 4-2, because of the quality of chances we were creating from our build moments, from our possession moments, even at 4-2, saying it’s not the best result for us at all but we’re still right in this at home at Stamford Bridge.
The fifth goal, that’s the painful, painful one. Yeah, it’s something I really have to solve because we are very close, very close to being an outstanding team but we have to overcome this hurdle yesterday to make sure that happens. He said this when he was asked about the lineups being leaked “No, I wasn’t aware. I’m sure we’ll get to the bottom of that if that’s the case. These things now, they happen quite a lot. We get information about our opposition. I’m more worried about the end result than the beginning of the game.”
This Really was a horrendous match for Chelseaof course and there is no doubt about it either. The players tried their best however they were outclassed by a way more dynamic and versatile Paris Saint Germain side. They still have the second leg now. Time will tell what happens in the second leg of course in the UEFA Champions League.
