Everton are in a good financial position on the back of the takeover, yet the club are expected to squeeze their potential earnings even further with season ticket renewals on their way.

The Friedkin Group have done a lot of good work at Everton since they completed the takeover on Merseyside just over a year ago.

However, ticket price increases are proving inevitable across the Premier League, and club one insider is expecting the renewal announcement to share an increase at Everton.

Although the price increase is expected to rise by a few per cent, there is a constant increase on the cost of supporting your club, with no real end in sight.

Everton fans have been unhappy with the new stadium’s transport links, which has proven a real issue for the match-going supporters.

The new ground is by no means perfect, but the club looks set to increase the prices to attend games there at the very first opportunity.
