Arsenal U21s and U18s look to return to winning ways

It is set to be another busy couple of days for the academy, with Arsenal U21s and U18s both in action.

Firstly, the U21s will play their penultimate home game of the regular Premier League 2 season when they host Leicester City tonight.

Leicester, who could include former Arsenal youngster Amani Richards in their team, haven’t won any of their last three matches but are just one place and one point behind the Gunners in 11th, albeit having played a game more.

Arsenal will hope to have Andre Harriman-Annous back available after he was named on the bench for the first-team against Mansfield last weekend.

Having conceded a late equaliser in the 2-2 draw with Norwich last time out, Arsenal will be looking to ensure that they can keep a clean sheet on this occasion.

Tomorrow, Arsenal U18s will be eager to return to winning ways when they face Ipswich Town away.

Ipswich are currently bottom of the table but Arsenal haven’t been in great form themselves having lost their last two matches.

This game could be another opportunity for talented schoolboy midfielders Emerson Nwaneri and Mishel Nduka to get further minutes at this level.
