“The Best Running Back Prospect”: Tennessee Titans Find Next Superstar Running Back in Latest…

The Tennessee Titans will have the fourth overall pick in the 2026 NFL Draft. Tennessee in franchise history has had elite running backs. Chris Johnson, Earl Campbell, and Derrick Henry are just a few names to be some of the greats in franchise history. With the Titans addressing the defensive side of the ball in free agency, there is a chance that they are gearing up to draft offense.

One potential name to watch out for in the 2026 NFL Draft is Notre Dame Fighting Irish running back Jeremiyah Love. There is a good chance that he can get drafted in the Top 10 of the draft.

Garrett Podell of CBS Sports created his latest 2026 NFL mock draft. With the fourth pick, he has the Titans selecting running back Love from Notre Dame. There are many questions about how high he could potentially go in this year’s draft. Podell said,

“The Titans spent a whopping $270.715 million across the first two days of free agency to address numerous needs on both sides of the ball. Their defensive line is restocked, so they don’t need to draft an edge rusher here. That’s why Tennessee selects the best running back prospect in Notre Dame’s Jeremiyah Love as the Titans aim to take a major leap in Year 2 of the Cam Ward era.”

Love would be a good offensive weapon to have in the Tennessee offense. They will still need either another wide receiver later on or get more offensive line help. He is 6’0″ and weighs 214 lbs. Love rushed for 1,372 yards on 199 carries and 18 touchdowns, along with averaging 6.9 yards per carry. He also has caught 27 passes for 280 yards receiving and three touchdowns, along with averaging 10.4 yards per reception.

If the Titans were to draft him, he would no doubt be the next great running back the franchise would have. Love will no doubt be a gamebreaker as a rookie in the league.
