Maxx Crosby had a really good 2025 season, though it did not end well for the Las Vegas Raiders. The franchise finished the season with a disappointing 3-14 record and missed the playoffs yet again.
Recently, the player was traded to the Baltimore Ravens. But the deal was cancelled due to a failed physical. It now looks like he is set to stay with the Raiders for the next season.
Raiders look to keep Maxx Crosby
According to Pro Football, the Raiders have informed interested teams that star defensive end Maxx Crosby will not be traded. This possibly ends all the speculation about the player going for another trade ahead of the next season.
The Raiders had agreed to trade him to the Ravens in exchange for two first-round picks in the 2026 and 2027 NFL Drafts. However, the deal was not finalized as Crosby failed the physical exam required.
He had previously been injured and missed the last two games of the season. He underwent surgery in January 2026 to repair a torn meniscus in his left knee, missing the last two games of the season. There are concerns that he won’t be fit in time, though his agent has stated the opposite.
