Ex-Bucks star Khris Middleton puts up absurd Bam Adebayo-esque 4th quarter vs. Grizzlies

No one’s going to top Bam Adebayo’s 83 points for a long time, but former Milwaukee Bucks star forward Khris Middleton had a “mini’Bam” going on in the fourth quarter of Thursday’s game between the Dallas Mavericks and the Memphis Grizzlies at FedExForum in Memphis.

The 34-year-old Middleton produced 35 points in the Grizzlies game, and he scored 22 of those in the fourth quarter, helping the Mavs come away with a 120-112 win.

Fans took notice of Middleton’s performance and had some fans reacting to a throwback performance by the three-time NBA All-Star.

“Really traded this goat for Kuzma ☠️,” said a fan on X.

Another one said: “Hes super underrated. He was really Kobe to Giannis’s Shaq in those finals”

From a commenter: “22 in just the 4th crazy clutch 🔥Looking like his old bucks days 🔥😮‍💨”

“PEOPLE FORGOT HOW GOOD KHRIS MIDDLETON WAS.,” a social media user posted.

Via a different commenter: “Bro heard washed allegations and said let me cook for one game.”

Said another: “I don’t think Kuzma never scored this many points. The fans wanted him traded though 🤷‍♂️”

Middleton was traded by the Washington Wizards to the Mavericks in a three-team trade that also involved the Charlotte Hornets ahead of last February’s deadline.

There were rumors about a possible buyout with Dallas, but that did not materialize, as Middleton now looks forward to finishing the 2025-26 campaign alongside Cooper Flagg and the rest of the Mavs.

Middleton, who won an NBA title with the Bucks, has averaged 13.8 points through 14 games played with the Mavericks, and he’ll try to stay hot this Friday against the Cleveland Cavaliers at Fiserv Forum.
