Everton have been strongly linked with a move for Harry Wilson since the start of 2026.
Joe Thomas recently told the Royal Blue podcast that David Moyes absolutely adores Wilson and there was “genuine interest” in the Wales international in January, after he entered the final six months of his contract at Fulham.
The BBC and other reliable outlets have also linked the Toffees to the Welshman, but as is often the case, transfer rumours must be taken with a pinch of salt.
However, the interest in Harry Wilson may have just been confirmed by David Moyes after the Everton boss made an interesting comment about European football and recruitment.

David Moyes concedes Everton need European football to land targets, which is what Harry Wilson wants
Reports have suggested that Wilson is holding out for a move to a side competing in Europe this summer as he prepares to leave Fulham – who paid £12m for him in July 2021 – as a free agent.
TalkSPORT mentioned that the Fulham No.8 is open to joining Aston Villa for that exact reason, with the Villans currently in the UEFA Europa League and on track to return to the UEFA Champions League next term as they sit fourth in the Premier League.
Amid Wilson’s rumoured hunt for European football, Moyes said in his press conference ahead of the trip to Arsenal: “I think if we want to try and get the level of players that we’d like to get in the next window, in the windows coming up, I think Europe is really important.”
