The New York Giants recently reached an agreement on a three-year deal with former Baltimore Ravens tight end Isaiah Likely. The deal, which reunites Isaiah with head coach John Harbaugh, is reportedly worth $40m.

In the self-filmed video, Likely’s wife is seen acknowledging her husband’s latest contract while sharing details of his real-time itinerary. She disclosed that Likely had a dentist’s appointment a few moments before the athlete himself joined the scene. What followed was an emotional embrace between both—one that further amplified the already obvious ambient excitement.
Likely, 25 is one of the most talented tight ends available in free agency this offseason. Despite having what’s generally considered the worst season of his four-year career, the verified superstar still got enough of the Giants’ trust to secure a deal.
After a small fracture in his right foot cost him the first three games of last season with the Ravens, Likely finished with career lows in receptions (27), receiving yards (307), and touchdowns (one). Chances are his remarkably low performances partly informed the franchise’s refusal to extend his contract. Instead, the Ravens settled for Andrews, whom they signed to a three-year, $39.2 million deal in December.
Considering the difficult season the 2022 fourth-round draft pick encountered last season, there’s little surprise about his wife’s emotional reaction to the newest deal.
