Chelsea are reportedly exploring a shock summer move for Riccardo Calafiori.
The 23-year-old has struggled to secure regular first-team minutes under Mikel Arteta this season and is understood to be increasingly frustrated with the situation.
Since joining Arsenal from Serie A side Bologna in the summer of 2024, Calafiori has also been hampered by several injury problems.
New signing Piero Hincapié has established himself as Arsenal’s regular starter at left-back since arriving from Bayer Leverkusen last summer.

According to Chelsea journalist Simon Phillips, the Blues are interested in signing Calafiori this summer.
With the Italy international believed to be unhappy with his current situation at the Emirates, Chelsea see an opportunity to attempt to lure him to Stamford Bridge.
It is also understood Calafiori prefers to play in his natural position at centre-back — something Liam Rosenior’s side could offer.

Meanwhile, Arsenal have reportedly opened talks over a summer deal for Castello Lukeba — a further indication Calafiori could be on his way out this summer.
