Back on their home court on Friday, March 13, the Detroit Pistons are facing some injury concerns, specifically with the veteran center, Jalen Duren.

During the first night of the back-to-back set, Duren checked in for 15 minutes against the Philadelphia 76ers. The veteran center had an efficient night, going 6-7 from the field to score 14 points.

Duren logged a double-double as he came down with 10 rebounds. He also had two assists and one block on the defensive end. He finished the game as a plus-21.

The Pistons didn’t have any issues facing a struggling and depleted Sixers team. They took out Philadelphia with a final score of 131-109. Now, the Memphis Grizzlies are next up for the Pistons.

The Pistons have downgraded Jalen Duren to questionable. According to the official NBA injury report, the veteran center is dealing with knee soreness.

The last time Duren missed action for the Pistons was on February 19. At the time, the veteran center was serving a two-game suspension for fighting ahead of the NBA All-Star break.

Duren returned to the court for the February 21 matchup against the Chicago Bulls and hasn’t missed any action since.

This year, Duren has played a total of 55 games for Detroit. He is having the best run of his career. Seeing the court for 27.6 minutes per game, the veteran big man has made 63% of his field goals. He averages 18.5 points per game.
