It seemed like every Philadelphia Eagles fan’s offseason wish list included 1 person in particular in terms of bringing back free agents, and that was a hope the team would find a way to re-sign punter Braden Mann.
“I need that Eagles Braden Mann, elite, field-flipping punter signing,” Philadelphia SN’s David Neisz wrote on his official X account on March 10.
The Eagles made that hope a reality and made Mann 1 of the NFL’s highest-paid punters in the process.
“Punting paydays continue: Eagles free-agent punter Braden Mann is signing a four-year, $14 million extension, including $7 million guaranteed to return to Philadelphia, per sources,” ESPN’s Adam Schefter wrote on his official X account.
It’s a huge leap for Mann, who had approximately $6.5 million in career earnings through his first 6 seasons in the NFL.
From the Eagles’ official X account: “He’s the MANN! We’ve agreed to terms on a four-year deal with P Braden Mann.”
