Carolina Panthers are signing former Packers OL Rasheed Walker in free agency

GREEN BAY, Wis. (WBAY) - In an offseason where the Packers have already said goodbye to offensive lineman Elgton Jenkins, another lineman is taking his talents elsewhere.

Rasheed Walker, who’s manned the left tackle position for the last three years in Green Bay, is reportedly signing a 1 year, $10 million deal with the Carolina Panthers.

The deal is said to have several incentives in the $10 million, which would impact the compensation the Packers would get from him signing elsewhere.

Walker is still awaiting his first hearing stemming from an arrest at LaGuardia Airport, where [he is accused of attempting to check a bag that contained a gun](https://www.wbay.com/2026/01/24/packers-player-arrested-new-york-airport/). The gun was registered legally in Wisconsin, but it is illegal to travel through an airport with a gun in New York.

Walker was charged with Second-Degree Criminal Possession of a Weapon and Criminal Possession of a Firearm, according to the New York Post.
