Contract details haven't currently been announced for Quincey Williams and Corey Bojorquez yet but I would expect the year one salary cap number to be approximately $2,500,000 and $1,750,000 respectively. At the same time this will push a player off the bottom of the top 51 contract calculation, so you are looking at $2,240,000 of salary cap space.
Draft Picks
The cap space required to sign all of the draft picks is $12,129,541 per Over The Cap. Trading down from 6 to 12 will reduce the signing bonus from $27,429,444 to $15,728,176. This means $11,701,268 of cash saved and $2,925,317 of cap space saved in 2026.
More Additions
If they trade or sign more players in free agency the impact will be marginal to the salary cap. If they add a player for $7.5m a year, they will sign a base salary of $1.3m depending on their time in the league and a $6.2m signing bonus. This would mean a $2.54m salary cap number in 2026. But only take $1,535,000 of cap space as it pushes a $1,005,000 player out the top 53 calculation. This is why they can spend significantly more than their cap space and the focus should always be cash and guarantees, not cap space which can be left to the accountants.
