Kings announce new brutal injury news on Keegan Murray

Murray (ankle) will miss two more weeks for Sacramento.

Keegan Murray is progressing in his current left ankle sprain rehabilitation, the Sacramento Kings announced Friday.

As such, he will miss two more weeks to recover.

Murray has been out since Feb. 25, when he sustained the injury in the home loss against the Houston Rockets.

Murray's inactivity stands as one of the most frustrating segments in this disappointing season for Sacramento. The franchise forward only appeared in 23 games, averaging 14.7 points, 5.7 rebounds, 1.7 assists and 1.6 blocks.

With less than a month left before the end of the regular season, Murray could be subsequently deactivated by the 16-win Kings for the remainder of the year.
