Rasheer Fleming sets career-high with 3 blocks in Suns’ loss to Raptors

Phoenix Suns rookie Rasheer Fleming posted a career-high three blocks, and Devin Booker and Jalen Green combined for 65 points in the Suns’ 122-115 loss to the Toronto Raptors on Friday.

All three of Fleming’s blocks came in the second quarter. It was his ninth game this season with a block, and he topped his previous career-high of two blocks, which he accomplished in Thursday’s win over the Indiana Pacers.

Fleming’s first two blocks came within 15 seconds of each other and the third came with 56 seconds until halftime.

The Suns’ rookie finished the game with nine points on 3-of-6 shooting, four rebounds, three blocks and a steal.

As for Phoenix’s backcourt duo, they seem to be hitting their stride.

After combining for a season-high 79 points against the Pacers on Thursday, Booker and Green followed that up by combining for 65 points on Friday.

Green finished with 34 points on 13-of-22 shooting, five rebounds, four assists and a steal.

Booker finished with 26 points on 9-of-18 shooting, two rebounds and a block.

However, the efforts of Fleming, Booker and Green weren’t enough.

Brandon Ingram scored 36 points on 13-of-20 shooting to lead the Raptors to a comeback win over the Suns on Friday night.
