Divine Mukasa is the sole new face in the Leicester City line-up against QPR with Gary Rowett choosing to keep faith with nearly all of the players that secured Tuesday night’s 2-0 win over Bristol City.

Mukasa is brought into attacking midfield in place of Bobby De Cordova-Reid and will get an opportunity to link with Jordan James for the first time as City starters.

But that’s where the changes end. Hamza Choudhury remains at right-back, and captain, with Ricardo Pereira on the bench, while Jordan Ayew starts up front over Patson Daka. Experienced players like Harry Winks and Jamaal Lascelles remain among the substitutes too.

Aiming to keep a second clean sheet at the back are goalkeeper Jakub Stolarczyk and centre-backs Caleb Okoli and Ben Nelson. Luke Thomas is at left-back, with Choudhury on the right.

Oliver Skipp will be the sole midfielder in front of the back four, allowing James and Mukasa to play further forward. Abdul Fatawu and Stephy Mavididi will flank Ayew up front.

No matter the scoreline, changes will be expected just after the hour mark, with the likes of Ricardo, Winks and Daka all expected to feature.

City (4-1-4-1): Stolarczyk; Choudhury, Okoli, Nelson, Thomas; Skipp; Fatawu, James, Mukasa, Mavididi; Ayew.
