There are countless reasons why spring football is so important at so many places. At West Virginia, Tobi Haastrup is one of the biggest reasons. One of the fastest, too.
A native of London, a wonder in Texas high school football, Haastrup's physical prowess and potential are as immense as his background is interesting. He just hasn't played much American football.
"Being over here for just a couple of years, just playing a few years of football, he's got a lot of growth still left to do," said defensive coordinator Zac Alley.
