After already experiencing one setback involving Jack Grealish as he fractured his foot in January, Everton now have a new problem thanks to Aston Villa.
Unai Emery is said to be feeling confident about bringing the England international back to Villa Park this summer, with David Moyes keen for The Friedkin Group to move as quickly as possible due to competition for the 30-year-old.
That is according to Sportsboom – who share why there is so much confidence over a deal for Jack Grealish within the Aston Villa camp.

Aston Villa feel European football and Jack Grealish connection will help to fend off Everton
It is said that Aston Villa feel their connection with the Everton No.18 – who joined the Villans at the age of just six – will help them beat the Toffees to his signature in the summer transfer window.
Emery is also confident of bringing Grealish back to the Midlands with European football practically already secured.
Aston Villa currently sit fourth in the Premier League, and even fifth place is likely to be enough for UEFA Champions League football this season due to the strong performances of English clubs in Europe right now.
Moyes is said to be ‘determined’ to keep Grealish around for next season – even if Manchester City only allow for another loan deal.

Now, however, the Glaswegian not only has to wait and see how the man from Birmingham recovers from his broken foot, but the 62-year-old must also be wary of a bid from Aston Villa.
Everton have a persuasion job looming after 2021 Jack Grealish comments resurface
Moyes might have his work cut out to convince Grealish to stay at Everton, as the attacking midfielder has already told the Telegraph he would love to return to Villa Park.
In December 2021, he said: “It’s a club that is so close to my heart and I definitely hope to go back there. That’s always been in my mind. Ashley Young has done it and I want to do the same, 100 per cent.”

Grealish seems to be enjoying himself at Everton – although it is surely going to be tough for Moyes to secure his signature again if Aston Villa do decide to put an offer on the table.
