Beginning with the early San Antonio and Charlotte game on Amazon Prime, this contest features arguably two of the hottest teams in the NBA over the past few months.

While the Spurs have only lost two games since the start of February, franchise star Victor Wembanyama has been making a strong case for the MVP award and Defensive Player of the Year, as his odds for both have surged recently.

However, with the Hornets’ young trio of LaMelo Ball, Brandon Miller, and Rookie of the Year favorite Kon Knueppel, the team has gone 22-11 in 2026 and have shot into playoff contention in the East.

This game features some of the best young talents in the league, and could see the last three Rookie of the Year winners all on the court together, if Knueppel ends up winning the award. While Charlotte won the first contest against San Antonio, the Spurs remain a slight favorite for this game.

As for the marquee matchup of the night, the Nuggets vs. Lakers game sees two top teams in the West square off in hopes of shaving abetter chance at securing home-court advantage for the playoffs. The two teams have been anywhere from third to sixth in the standings, and this game features both Nikola Jokic and Luka Doncic, two other top candidates for the MVP award.

Jokic is coming off three triple-doubles in a row, while Doncic had his first 50-point game for the Lakers on Thursday, as he was one assist shy of a triple-double for himself. The two are arguably the top offensive hubs in the NBA today.

The two teams split the season series 1-1 earlier in the season, as both were close games. But while Denver has been on a recent skid, going 5-5 in their last ten, while Los Angeles has been hot, winning seven of their last eight, the visiting Nuggets remain a slight favorite.

As for Kings vs. Clippers, this game features two teams in opposite directions. Sacramento has the second-worst record in the NBA at 16-51, and has seen season-ending injuries to many of their top contributors. At this point in the season, the Kings expect to already eye the lottery in hopes of landing one of the top college prospects.

At the same time, the Clippers, thanks to star Kawhi Leonard, have been one of the best teams over the past few months of the season, as after starting 6-21, they are now 34-32 and in line to make the Play-In Tournament. Leonard is averaging a career-high 28.3 points on 50% shooting, and has scored at least 20 points in 42 consecutive games. Los Angeles is a heavy favorite against Sacramento on Saturday night.
