With the NFL Draft a little over a month away, there appears to be a two-team race for Notre Dame running back Jeremiyah Love.
Love, a Heisman Trophy finalist in 2025, had 2,882 rushing yards, 594 receiving yards and 42 touchdowns during his phenomenal career at Notre Dame. He's by far and away the best running back prospect available in the 2026 draft. That being said, it sounds like he's got two great options at his disposal.
Over the past two weeks, the Tennessee Titans have emerged as a legitimate suitor for Love. In fact, their front office has already raved about his skillset.
"Any time you can get a running back like that, especially a three-down running back, that can play in the pass game as well and be able to take over a game," Titans general manager Mike Borgonzi said. "You've seen guys in the league now that can do that. Gibbs is an example in Detroit that can run in between the tackles. He can-he's a game changer, and you can line him up outside, you can use him as a receiver. And I think this guy in the draft, Jeremiyah does that as well … It's the speed and the ability to play on three downs, what you see with those players and they're tough."
While the Titans are in great position to select Love with the No. 4 overall pick, they may have to worry about another team in the top 10 trading ahead of them.

Jeremiyah Love to the Big Apple?
SNY reporter Connor Hughes suggested the New York Giants could draft Love with the No. 5 overall pick this April.
"The Giants pursued Kenneth Walker III but couldn't get a deal done because the price got too high. If the Giants were willing to pay a running back close to $12 million annually, why wouldn't they draft one fifth overall? One with even greater physical gifts than Walker?" Hughes wrote. "One other minor note: most mock drafts heading into free agency had the Chiefs selecting Love at No. 9. The Chiefs then signed Walker instead. Did they know the running back had no shot of getting to them? Maybe …"
On Saturday, a popular social media user by the name of "Rickey Scoops" said the Giants are "locked in" on taking Love if he's available when they're on the clock.
Suffice to say, Love won't have to wait long to hear his name called on draft night.
