Boston Celtics star Jaylen Brown was streaming on Twitch on Friday when JB shouted out the strong development of young Celtics wing Jordan Walsh this season, noting both organizational and league-wide recognition of Walsh's growth.
“His development has been great this year," Brown said of Walsh. "The organization has taken notice but other teams around the league have seen what he’s capable of too.”

Brown’s comments point to Walsh’s progress in increased minutes for the Celtics this season. The young wing has provided energy, defense and efficient scoring off the bench. He has a $2.4 million team option for next season that the Celtics will surely exercise.
Other teams monitoring Walsh’s play could lead to a departure after 2026-27, but for now, his focus remains on helping Boston’s rotation.
Walsh is averaging 5.3 points and 4.1 rebounds in 17.2 minutes per game across 58 appearances this year. Shooting 52.5 percent from the field and 40.8 percent from three, he has delivered consistent value and earned expanded trust from the staff.
