So far this offseason, the Denver Broncos haven't made an outside addition. But, with a major need for playmaking ability in the offense, the Broncos should be involved in the free agent wide receiver and tight end market.
With Mike Evans and Alec Pierce off the market, the second wave of free agents features a few interesting names. But, there's one name that stands out.
The Athletic's Nick Kosmider linked the Broncos to San Francisco 49ers wide receiver free agent Jauan Jennings. The 28-year-old receiver has been in the NFL for five seasons and is coming off a career-high nine-touchdowns in 2025 for the 49ers.
Broncos linked to Jauan Jennings in free agency
"Among the names that could be interesting for the Broncos are tight ends Dallas Goedert and David Njoku and wide receiver Jauan Jennings," Kosmider writes.
Jennings is an interesting free agent option for the Broncos, as the 6-foot-3, 212-pound receiver has a similar skillset to Courtland Sutton.
Along with Troy Franklin, Marvin Mims, and Pat Bryant, Jennings coming to the Broncos would form a very interesting five-man wide receiver room.
But his addition could open the door to a trade of one of these receivers, as he'd be an upgrade over Mims and Franklin for the Broncos' offense.

Jennings had 643 receiving yards and nine touchdowns on 55 receptions last season. It was a career high in TDs, but not in yards or catches. Those career-highs came the year before.
In 2024 for the 49ers, Jennings had 77 catches on 113 targets for 975 yards and six touchdowns. He's been a solid receiver in his five-year career, totaling 2,581 receiving yards and 22 touchdowns with 210 catches on 330 targets.
With the first wave of free agency gone by, Jennings might not be too expensive for the Broncos to acquire in free agency. He's a solid option and should be on the Broncos' list of targets in free agency to add a much-needed playmaker.
Kosmider is linking the Broncos to Jennings, and for good reason. They need offensive firepower, and Jennings, one of the top receivers available, would be a solid pickup to give Bo Nix another receiver to target in 2026 and beyond.
