OKC Thunder Make Isaiah Hartenstein Announcement Before Timberwolves Game

On Sunday, the Oklahoma City Thunder will host the Minnesota Timberwolves.

The Thunder most recently beat the Boston Celtics (also at home) by a score of 104-102.

Isaiah Hartenstein did not play in the game (and missed his third straight).

For Sunday’s game, the Thunder have announced that Hartenstein will be listed as questionable.

He is averaging 10.2 points, 9.2 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 1.0 steals per contest while shooting 63.7% from the field in 36 games.

Clemente Almanza of OKC Thunder Wire wrote: “Thunder injury report for tomorrow’s game against the Timberwolves:

Jalen Williams (hamstring strain) is out Isaiah Hartenstein (calf contusion) is questionable Nikola Topic (G League assignment) is out Branden Carlson (back strain) is out Thomas Sorber (torn ACL) is out Brooks Barnhizer (G League two-way) is out”

Hartenstein’s NBA Career

Hartenstein was the 43rd pick in the 2017 NBA Draft.

Over eight seasons, he has also spent time with the New York Knicks, Houston Rockets, LA Clippers, Denver Nuggets and Cleveland Cavaliers.

His career averages are 7.1 points, 6.6 rebounds and 2.1 assists per contest while shooting 59.7% from the field in 415 games.

Real App wrote during the 2025 NBA playoffs: “Isaiah Hartenstein tied the NBA record for the highest +/- in a playoff debut with a new team.”

OKC This Season

After winning the 2025 NBA Championship, the Thunder are currently the first seed in the Western Conference with a 52-15 record in 67 games.

They have won nine out of their last ten.

Following the Timberwolves, the Thunder will play their next game on Tuesday when they visit the Orlando Magic in Florida.

Last season, they beat the Timberwolves in the Western Conference finals.

Timberwolves Ahead Of OKC

The Timberwolves are the sixth seed with a 41-26 record in 67 games.

They have won six out of their last ten (and are 19-14 in 33 games on the road).
