New York Knicks Announce Roster Move Before Warriors Game

On Sunday, the New York Knicks will host the Golden State Warriors at Madison Square Garden in Manhattan.

The Knicks are coming off a 101-92 victory over the Indiana Pacers (on the road).

Jalen Brunson led the way with 29 points, five rebounds, nine assists and one steal while shooting 11/25 from the field in 37 minutes of playing time.

Before Sunday’s game, the Knicks have announced that they have assigned three players to the G League.

NY Knicks PR wrote: “The New York Knicks assign Pacôme Dadiet, Ariel Hukporti and Tyler Kolek to the Westchester Knicks.”

Tyler Kolek’s Season

Kolek was the 34th pick in the 2024 NBA Draft.

He has spent both seasons as a pro with New York.

This year, the 24-year-old is averaging 4.4 points, 1.7 rebounds and 2.8 assists per contest while shooting 42.4% from the field and 35.6% from three-point range in 55 games.

Ariel Hukporti This Season

Hukporti was the 58th pick in the 2024 NBA Draft.

He is in his second year (all with New York).

Right now, the 23-year-old is averaging 1.8 points and 2.8 rebounds per contest while shooting 55.0% from the field in 48 games.
