Alie-Cox is a locker room favorite who’s played in 125 games for Indy — amassing 16 TDs while becoming one of the NFL’s premier run-blocking TEs.
In the 2025 season, the tight end recorded 117 receiving yards and a single touchdown catch on 13 receptions. Alie-Cox has registered 1,550 receiving yards and 16 touchdowns in his career.
Mo Alie-Cox spent the 2025 season on a one-year, $2.2 million deal. The tight end will return for his ninth season in the league, all with the Colts.

With his return to the squad, Mo Alie-Cox will likely be tight end 2 on the depth chart.
The number one spot went to rookie tight end Tyler Warren, who was one of the Indianapolis Colts best weapons in the 2025 season.
Warren logged 817 receiving yards and 4 touchdown catches on 76 receptions, and recorded a touchdown in the run game. The rookie’s performance earned him a Pro Bowl nod and he was named to the All-Rookie team.
Alie-Cox praised the rookie tight end, who was one of the better players at his respective position in the league, for his versatility on the offense.
“Just call him [a] jack of all trades because they literally ask him to do everything and he’s handled it well,” Alie-Cox said of his rookie teammate.
The former Penn State TE also received praise from tight end Drew Ogletree, calling him a valuable part of the offense.
“For this offense to go, he kind of needs to get rolling too,” Ogletree said, via the Colts. “He’s a very smart player and he knows like, ‘hey, I gotta go’… So every time he’s out on the field making plays makes us want to go make some plays.”
Warren cemented his spot as a franchise player for the Indianapolis Colts and with Mo Alie-Cox as a mentor, he could be destined to have an already promising career.
Mo Alie-Cox Not The Only Re-Signed Tight End

Mo Alie-Cox wasn’t the only tight end to re-sign with the Indianapolis Colts this offseason, as Drew Ogletree agreed to return to the team on a one-year deal.
“The 6-foot-5, 260 pound Ogletree, notably, has proven to be a physical presence in the run game. Among 60 tight ends with at least 1,000 snaps over the last three seasons, Ogletree’s 65.2 Pro Football Focus run blocking grade is sixth-highest,” Colts team writer JJ Stankevitz wrote.
“And when the Colts ask the 27-year-old Ogletree to stay home and block on passing dropbacks, his 82.0 Pro Football Focus pass block grade is the highest among those 60 tight ends.”
Ogletree was third on the depth chart for the Colts in the 2025 season, recording 27 receiving yards and a touchdown pass on 4 receptions.
With all three members of the tight end group returning, the position can have similar success it had in the last season.
