Saints QB Tyler Shough throws TD for Savannah Bananas, then leads dance break. See video.

Seventy-thousand fans went crazy as New Orleans Saints starting quarterback Tyler Shough threw a touchdown pass in the Caesars Superdome on Saturday, March 14.

Yes, you read that date correctly.

Shough was brought out as a surprise guest at Saturday night’s Savannah Bananas game in New Orleans. Bananas founder Jesse Cole introduced him, and Shough threw for a series with the Bananas. On third down, the Bananas scored a touchdown, and Shough ran into the end zone to celebrate by taking a selfie video with the team and breaking out into a dance before running back to the Bananas’ dugout.

Shough is spending his first full NFL offseason in New Orleans following the birth of he and his wife’s first child.

On Thursday night, Shough had a dinner with new Saints running back Travis Etienne Jr. at Mr. John’s Steakhouse on St. Charles Ave.

Etienne said it was encouraging seeing the Saints’ leaders at the team’s facility and setting the example for the rest of the organization.
