Aston Villa are eyeing a sensational reunion with Jack Grealish this summer and want to beat Everton to his signature, according to Sports Boom.
The Villans are pushing to earn qualification to the Champions League for next season, and currently sit in fourth place in the Premier League table, level on points with Manchester United, ahead of their meeting against each other on Sunday afternoon.
But the club are keen to ensure that they are able to strengthen the squad for next season regardless of how this campaign ends, and a stunning move to bring their former captain back to the club is being considered.
Aston Villa Want to Re-Sign Jack Grealish

Grealish left Villa to join Manchester City in a then-British record deal worth £100m back in 2021, and he went on to claim three Premier League titles and a Champions League trophy during his spell up north.
However, the former England star found himself sidelined last season under Pep Guardiola and opted to leave for more regular football this year, joining Everton on a season-long loan, where he shone before suffering a season-ending foot injury.
The 30-year-old wing wizard, who has been described as 'unbelievable', is set to return to the Etihad this summer, but he will have just one year remaining on his £300,000-a-week contract, and now Villa are looking at bringing him back to the club where he came through the academy and made a name for himself.
It's understood that manager Unai Emery is pushing for the reunion as he looks to add more attacking depth to his squad, and sources close to Aston Villa feel they will have the upper hand over Everton in sealing a deal due to the fact they will have European football, and because of his connection to the side.
Man City are understood to be willing to sell Grealish permanently this summer, but their current asking price of £35m may prove to be a hurdle for any deal.
Grealish Return Would Be a Fairytale

Grealish was one of the best players to wear an Aston Villa shirt in recent years, helping them earn promotion to the top-flight and then turning in top performances to keep them in the league before he was sold.
Fans have always booed him whenever he has returned, but it always felt like more of a way to get under his skin and stop him performing than genuine dislike.
A return for their homegrown golden boy would in fairytale territory, and with a number of forward positions likely to be open to be filled this summer, it would be a welcome addition to the squad too.
