The Philadelphia Eagles continue to look for another wide receiver.
And while that could simply be because Jahan Dotson departed in free agency, it could also signal that an A.J. Brown trade is still anticipated.
The money makes more sense for the Eagles to trade Brown after June 1, so it might be a while. But they're still going after wideouts.
ESPN's Jeremy Fowler reported this weekend that the Eagles were after Darnell Mooney, the free agent wideout from the Atlanta Falcons.

In the end, Mooney signed with the New York Giants. He reunites with offensive coordinator Matt Nagy, who Mooney had a good relationship with in Chicago.
That leaves the Eagles still seeking, for whatever role they're really trying to fill.
The free agent WR pool isn't empty, which is good news for this Philly pursuit.
The most likely available player to maybe get a multi-year deal is Jauan Jennings from the San Francisco 49ers.

The free agent market also includes the likes of veterans Deebo Samuel and Stefon Diggs.
At this point, the bidding wars have slowed down in a big way, and so these wideouts are likely waiting to find something that fits them best.
Someone considering the Eagles may even want to know whether Brown will or won't be around in 2026, because that could have a big impact on a role for a different receiver.
For now, the Eagles haven't landed anyone, but that hasn't stopped them from working at it, which certainly feels like it is telling.
