Luka Doncic and the Los Angeles Lakers had a statement win on Saturday night against the Denver Nuggets.
As Doncic took on the Nikola Jokic-led squad, he put together a monster performance, which allowed the Lakers guard to tie the Nuggets center on an NBA history list.
With 55 30-point triple-doubles in his career, Doncic now has as many as Jokic. They are tied for the second-most in NBA history, trailing Oscar Robertson, who has an incredible 106 30-point triple-doubles.

Saturday's action between the Nuggets and the Lakers needed overtime to settle the final results.
Doncic checked in for 43 minutes on the night. He just reached the 30-point mark after going 10-26 from the field and knocking down four out of his 14 shots from beyond the arc. The star guard went 6-9 from the charity stripe.
To reach his triple-double mark, Doncic passed out 13 assists, turning the ball over six times. He also came down with 11 rebounds on the defensive end, in addition to blocking three shots, and picking up one steal.
Doncic's teammate, Austin Reaves, led the way in points scored and minutes played. The veteran sharpshooter checked in for 46 minutes, draining 12-21 shots from the field and going 5-6 from the free-throw line. The star dropped 32 points, coming down with seven rebounds and producing six assists.
The Lakers defeated the Nuggets 127-125.
What's Next For Luka Doncic And The Lakers?
At 42-25, the Lakers moved up the Western Conference standings on Saturday night.
Passing the Houston Rockets, the Lakers place third in the West, trailing the San Antonio Spurs and the Oklahoma City Thunder. Catching either team would be a tall task, considering the Spurs hold a seven-game lead over Los Angeles at this point.
This season, Doncic has appeared in 55 games. He is shooting 47% from the field and knocking down 36% of his threes. The star guard is putting up 32.8 points per game.
Beyond the scoring production, Doncic is dishing out 8.5 assists per game and coming down with 8.0 rebounds per game. Doncic might not be one of the league's top contenders for the MVP award, but he's certainly in the hunt.
The Lakers will get Sunday off before opening up a two-game stretch against the Houston Rockets on the road. The mini-series begins on Monday, March 16.
