Everton can be proud of the performance they put in against Arsenal on Saturday evening.
Mikel Arteta admitted Everton are a ‘very good side’ in his post-match press conference, noting that David Moyes has them so well coached.
So, there were plenty of positives to take from the performance, with Tim Iroegbunam and James Garner impressing.

There were also a couple of negative takeaways from the game, one being Vitalii Mykolenko’s costly error, as he lost his marker before Viktor Gyokeres broke the deadlock in the 89th minute.
Another notable lesson learnt actually came from Arteta, as the Spaniard showed Moyes the mistake he’s been making all season.
Mikel Arteta showed David Moyes he must trust the youth more at Everton
Moyes has been really reluctant to play the youth this season, with Tyler Dibling, for example, starting just four Premier League games since his £40m switch from Southampton.
Adam Aznou hasn’t even been given his full debut yet, and Tyrique George has played only four minutes this month.

Everton's Tyrique George.
George arrived on deadline day and was expected to play a key role until the end of the season, with Jack Grealish injured.
But, Moyes is using the 20-year-old sparingly, as he’s clearly leaning on his experienced players in the run-in.
Arteta showed the Scotsman that he may be making a big mistake with that approach, as his 16-year-old substitute Max Dowman completely changed the game yesterday.
The teenager whipped in a superb cross, which led to the first goal, and he sealed all three points by netting one of his own in stoppage time.
Dowman, who became the youngest-ever Premier League goalscorer, was given the Man of the Match award for his cameo.
If the Arsenal youngster were at Everton, it’s hard to imagine Moyes giving him a sniff; he may not have even made his debut yet.
So, the Toffees boss should reconsider his approach to the youth after the Arsenal clash. Perhaps the under-21 top scorer Braiden Graham should get a chance off the bench.
