Knicks Get Positive Josh Hart Injury Update vs Warriors

The New York Knicks have been dealing with a rough injury stretch, and heading into tonight's home game against the Golden State Warriors, things are finally looking up.

According to reporter James L. Edwards III on X, both Josh Hart and Jeremy Sochan are listed as probable for tonight's tipoff at Madison Square Garden.

Hart has been nursing left knee soreness that first appeared after he logged 36 minutes against the Los Angeles Clippers. He sat out the next two games, missing matchups against the Utah Jazz and Indiana Pacers. Sochan was dealing with an illness that kept him out against Indiana, too.

Both players were listed as questionable heading into this matchup, so the upgrade to probable is a real boost. Hart averages 11.8 points, 7.6 rebounds and 5.1 assists this season, and his defensive energy is hard to replace. Having Sochan available gives coach Mike Brown more rotation options as well.

The timing works out nicely. The Warriors are coming in shorthanded, with Stephen Curry, Draymond Green and Jimmy Butler III all ruled out. New York might get its guys back right when Golden State has almost none of theirs.
